Installed OK but no code showing in the source 2009/10/26 14:57 Karma: 0
Hi, I just installed joomlagator but no tracking code is showing up in my source (and Google Analytics says "No tracking installed").

I'm running Joomla 1.5. In Extension Manager I can see mod_analytics and a green tick under compatibility. In Module Manager JoomlaGATor is enabled - it is installed at the "bottom" position on all pages and I have the correct Analytics account number in the format UA-9999999-9

The website is http://www.theinvisibleshop.com

Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
Matt

Think I solved it - I moved joomlagator to the "footer" postion.

Having the same problem, but mine's already in the footer. Installed fine, but no analytics code on any page I can find.

Some templates won't show up the module if there is no visible code as they treat it as empty. Others just don't like certain module positions for some reason. Try some other positions such as left.

Will the position limit the data it can collect? I had to put it in "top".

Nope, the last position is generally recommended as it will make the module load last meaning the important stuff gets loaded first for the good old dial up users. So not really an issue nowadays.
