I am looking to develop a new site in Joomla using a yootheme template and I also need to be able to produce a form for potential customers to contact us. Any suggestions as to how best generate the form, do I need another product?

We are utility brokers and we predominately use the web to get customers to ask us to audit their contracts. This request is done by using a form.

We need to track referrals, we do on our current site http://www.utilitymatters.com/index.php?aff=refer where refer will be the person recommending our services. This is tracked throughout the site via the URL.

Having done some research it seem a bright idea to use google analytics to do this adding some of the following into the URL that enters our site - Campaign Source (utm_source) Campaign Medium (utm_medium) Campaign Name (utm_campaign).

My understanding is that this will somehow add a first party cookie?

My question is this.

How do I integrate this with the joomla template?

And then how, as the customer navigates the site and get to a page where they want to make an enquiry (could be on various subjects so not one form), retrieve the referral details so that we can populate the enquiry form when the customer makes the request. This means that we will know who referred a particular customer. I am presuming that the google analytic information must be available during the session.

I am not particularly technical. Can JoomlaGATor help us acheive this?

If I am trying to achieve this in a completely illogical way and there are other solutions to solving this then please feel free to explain. I have seen affiliate tracking software, but we do not receive orders we receive requests for information.
